We will start our tour off in the City of Johannesburg by visiting some of the greatest landmarks there are to see. We will stop at the Hector Pieterson memorial where you will learn more about the Soweto uprising. Hector Pieterson was one of the first students killed in the 1976 Soweto student uprising. Since then, he has become a symbol of youth rebellion against apartheid. This is a crucial part of South African History and this is only one stop on this full day tour.

The Apartheid Museum was opened in November 2001. It is part of the Gold Reef City complex. Apartheid Museum Tours illustrates the rise and fall of apartheid.

The Nelson Mandela National Museum, commonly called Mandela House was built in 1945.
Nelson Mandela lived in the house from 1946 to 1962. The house is located at number 8115 at corner of Vilakazi and Ngakane streets.

It is situated outside the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. The rank is one of the busiest taxi ranks in South Africa transporting commuters to areas around and outside of Soweto.
This taxi rank will make us see how the commuters from Soweto engage in day to day transport activities. When doing our Soweto guided Tours we will stop at these rank to take photos and also learn the history of Soweto.
The largest hospital in South Africa, occupying approximately 70ha with 3 200 beds and +/- 7 000 staff.
It is a teaching hospital for the university of Witwatersrand medical school. It is one of the 40 Gauteng provincial hospitals and is financed and run by the Gauteng Provincial Health Authorities.
