Introduction

Experience the Raw Power of Nature with Africa Moja Tours and Safaris

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to lock eyes with one of nature’s most powerful predators — not from behind glass or on a screen, but in the open ocean? Get ready for the thrill of a lifetime with our Great White Shark Cage Diving Tour, a heart-racing marine encounter brought to you by Africa Moja Tours and Safaris. This world-famous adventure takes you from Cape Town to Gansbaai, the shark diving capital of the world, for a face-to-face meeting with the legendary great white shark.

Perfect for thrill-seekers, ocean lovers, photographers, and bucket-list travelers, this tour offers the rare chance to go cage diving with great white sharks in their natural environment. No scuba certification? No problem — our surface cage system lets you safely enter the water using a simple breathing apparatus, bringing you eye-level with these majestic giants.

Your journey begins with a scenic drive along South Africa’s stunning coast before launching into open waters near the famous Shark Alley, nestled between Dyer Island and Geyser Rock. This is where the action happens — an area rich in marine biodiversity and home to seals, penguins, and most importantly, the iconic great white shark.

From the adrenaline of the dive to the calm education of our conservation talks, this shark diving tour from Cape Town is more than just an adventure — it’s an opportunity to understand and respect the apex predator of the ocean. Led by trained marine biologists and guides, and operated with the highest safety and ethical standards, this experience is both exhilarating and enriching.

Whether you watch from the boat or dive into the cage, this is hands-down one of the best shark diving experiences in South Africa. And with Africa Moja Tours and Safaris handling all logistics — including Cape Town hotel pick-up, comfortable transport, meals, and certified operators — all you need to do is show up, suit up, and dive in.
