Itinerary

Depart early from Johannesburg (by road ≈ 6 hours) or Cape Town (morning flight ≈ 2 hours) to Hoedspruit Airport (HDS).
On arrival, you’ll be met by an Africa Moja Tours representative and transferred to Kambaku Safari Lodge, located in the heart of Timbavati Private Nature Reserve.
Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink and a light lunch as you settle into your luxury chalet overlooking the waterhole.
Afternoon Safari:
Embark on your first open-vehicle game drive with expert rangers and trackers. As the sun sets over the bushveld, enjoy your first glimpse of lions, elephants, rhinos, and perhaps the elusive leopard.
Return to camp for a three-course dinner under the stars and relax around the boma fire.

Wake to the sounds of the wilderness and depart on an early-morning game drive as predators finish their night hunt.
Enjoy coffee and rusks in the bush before returning for a hearty breakfast at the lodge.
Spend the late morning at leisure — swim in the pool, enjoy a spa treatment, or simply watch wildlife wander past your deck.
Afternoon Safari:
After high tea, set off for your second Big Five safari. Your ranger and tracker will follow fresh tracks and share fascinating insights about the ecosystem.
End the day with sundowners at a scenic viewpoint before returning for a boma dinner surrounded by lanterns and starlight.
